There are two primary purposes of the following quiz. The first is to assess your expertise in financial planning and portfolio management. The second is to assess your ability to execute your financial plan.

There will likely be some unfamiliar concepts, but that does not mean all is lost. Arguably, a third purpose of this quiz to highlight areas where you can improve your knowledge.

I would wish you luck, but that is not the point of this exercise. There are no good or bad grades. The ultimate goal is to foster introspection around your ability to successfully execute your retirement plan and a DIY investor.

A few more points before you start:

  • There are 32 multiple-choice questions that should take you approximately 5-10 minutes
  • You will receive a grade immediately after completing the quiz. We will not hold your grades hostage and ask you to register or swipe a credit card.
  • Your grades are based on a weighted average of your responses. That is, some questions have more impact than others.
